I've been researching wheel fitments for our 2 series for quite a while before I settled on 17x8.5 with 255 square for my track set up. I would be HIGHLY surprised if you were able to fit a 18x9 in the front even with some serious camber dialed in.
I believe 18x8.5 255 square with at least 2.5* camber is about as wide as we can go without rubbing. Even that is still wheel/offset dependent.
I can't quite remember but I don't recall coming across anyone with 18x9s up front but I could be wrong.
