After talking to the guy who coded my car I am going to add a touch Idrive controller and might look into adding Nav as 07/14 build and on have the same NBT headunit needed for nav , The nav is software based so it should be possible after adding an OEM GPS antenna that should be plug and play but we'll see since its only speculation but the touch controller is 100% possible

So, to be clear, with a later build 2-series (eg, 2016 m235 with original 6.5 display), swapping for the 8.8" display, idrive controller with nav option, a GPS antenna cable, and appropriate coding will give working navigation?No head unit swap?
