No apologies necessary! I'm glad that this is a polarizing design. It's the kind of stuff that attracted me to the BMW brand back in the early 2000s. I think that the F32/82 Ms are classier without a doubt, but I'm just tired of the conservative design direction. We benefit as consumers in the end run.

I'm not keeping my hopes up, but at this point I don't really care either. I can probably count on one hand the number of OEMs that don't resort to this trick on at least one or more models. I think the arrangement made the IS-F stand out which resulted in it being isolated and put on blast more than most others (like the R8 and 430 Scuderia, amongst a million others).

I'm sure it will lack a manual option. I bet they wouldn't sell more than a few if it was on offer so I don't blame them. Lexus != row-your-own to most people.
