I experienced a similar occurrence with my (N55) 135i. Its most likely because it is a new engine and you are (probably) driving it hard. Hard driving burns oil, especially in a new engine. Add a quart (or have your dealer do it - it will be covered under warranty) and drive on. You don't need an oil change - just some more oil.
