What's the reason you want to achieve 47/53 or something close to it?

For one thing, it adds weight—this 3653-pound car carried an additional 128 pounds versus the rear-drive M235i automatic we tested last year, and more of that mass was on its front axle (54/46 percent versus 53/47 for the rear-driver)."
