You can code the car through a wireless OBD port. Think of anything you see people talking about coding their car to do (there's a long thread on what you can do with F-series coding) and do that. Or, someone could disable the car just because he can.

Again, low probability. Still, isn't zero. To my knowledge, there hasn't been a car theft on my street in the 30 years we've lived there. Doesn't mean I'm going to start leaving my car unlocked in the driveway with the fob in the cupholder.
