Actually, the control options for the backup camera are a bit obscure. With the ignition on and the transmission in reverse (and thus the camera image visible), pushing the controller to the left brings up three or four icons. One is for brightness, one is for contrast, one toggles the parking aid line display, and the fourth (if you have coded it) toggles between normal view and zoom/hitch view - useful if you need to see if there is something on the ground right behind you.
