I have the rear JL coaxials and a small powered sub in the trunk and the F45 setting was almost unbearable due to the bass overtaking/muddying the sound.
Have you tried the F87/new F22?
It was definitely an improvement for me with better clarity and flatter EQ curve

Thank you for the info. I'm new to the forum with a 2020 F87 and am wondering if I should upgrade the fronts to the etons actually. With the F45 setting, yes bass has improved substantially but the front speakers still sound harsh and fatiguing to my ears.
