I'm in that exact same situation.
Order placed in November, status changed to 150 (production started) on 10-Dec-2019, estimated completion date is 20-Jan-2020 (UPDATE: 20th Jan is the correct date, not 1st Jan. It was a typo), no change in status yet.
In mygarage dot bmwusa dot com there are statuses like Exterior Body Assembly begins and In the Paint Shop before production ends. Anybody has experience following this?
