Been happy with my Conti DWS's for daily tires. Not too much sound, soft, last a long time. Going from a PSS and 200TW tires to A/S will always be weird, there will be noticeable difference in feel through the steering wheel.
They handled the snow in Tahoe well and held their own at Thunderhill when I had all the racecar stuff off the car - though I wouldn't recommend anyone to do this regularly. Would definitely recommend them, especially for the price.
