New Car Day (to me)! How much is the oil change after free oil service ends?
Hello, friends. After so many months silently watching this forum, I managed to get a used 2 series. I am the second owner so it doesn't come with the free oil changes I believe.
I do need to change the oil as it is due now. Should I really go to BMW to perform this change? I was wondering if I could save some bucks by paying an independent shop to do that for me.
A few things that I need to know:
1) Is it materially more expensive if I do it in BMW versus doing it on an independent shop? I probably need to change the oil filter as well.
2) If I do it on an independent shop, will this service show up on CarFax/Autocheck?
Thanks!
(obs: I was thinking this question is pretty common and used Search in this forum and didn't find an answer for my case)
