Like the system in my MB. You can only mute it or set it to a different input where there is no media. But you can't turn the radio off and if you have music playing off an SD card or thumb drive, you can't turn that off, either.

I was playing a tune in Music on my Apple TV (that has a pair of HomePod Minis as speakers). The only controls I found were for jumping to the next song or back a song or shuffle. I just wanted it to stop playing. I even got out of Music and went into YouTube and then it played both the song I had been listening to and the sound from the Youtube vid. I've read that you can hit the pause button on the Apple TV remote to get it to pause, but that's not the same as killing the song entirely. I have a new Apple TV coming on Friday that has an actual mute button on the remote, so maybe that'll have to do.
If I download the tunes from my playlist, do they save as mp4s that I can then save to a thumb drive or SD card? How does that work with tunes you download? Used to be with iTunes you could burn those to a CD or whatever.
Is it all totally cloud based? Like if I'm in Music on the Apple TV and I'm listening to a song on my playlist, then I pause it and get in my car and bring up Music on my iPhone, does it pick up at the same place I left it on the Apple TV?
(This should probably be in the "You know you're old when..." thread.)
