Unfortunately the 11367 does not fit on a '16 M235i without a significant cut on the bumper. The bottom of the receiver is flush with the bottom of the bumper cover. So I would need to have some pretty significant cuts. Outside of that it fits well.
I did call curt and there is no way to cross reference a hitch that has similar mount points, but a dropped receiver. I am going to ask a local welder to see how much it will run to get the receiver dropped 1.9" and ideally pulled back toward the rear axel by .25" to hide it even further.
