No max performance tire is good below 60 degrees. My PSS were skis below 50 here in CO.
That is why I drive on all season, bcs. they are much better in these temperatures that don't require snow tires (i put snows in December).
If you get CUP2, don't forget you cannot expose them to temperatures below 20 as they can get damaged.
