I decided to try a mobile service in the Boston-area due to the pandemic and already decided I will use them exclusively going forward. Marginally more in service cost, competitive for tires (though they will still install your own tires, tirerack, etc). And based on their instagram, it appears many enthusiasts (and owners of "special" cars) use them.
If I never visit a tire chain again, I'll be a happy man.
