I try to drain all my car's oil with the car level. I was doing my 2 on ramps for the first time and was like "ugh the car is not level" so I jacked up the rear to level it out..... nothing else came out, not even a drop.
My OTB car (other than bmw) has a drain plug in the middle of the pan, if you drain while on ramps a bunch of old oil is trapped.
