I installed the M performance diffuser on my 230i (using installation manual and instructions from fellow forum members)..
As expected, the exhaust pipes look "tucked in" too much under the diffuser as it pokes out more than the standard one. I got the exhaust finisher adapter (extender), per manual, part # 18302287043 and based on my measurements, it fits the exhaust pipe, however stock tips are too wide and don't fit to adapters. I assume this was designed so you also buy M perf tips, which I would like to avoid - I don't mind stock tips. I ordered the M240i adapters with the hope that the tips will fit, but not sure if the adapters will fit my exhaust pipe.
Any thoughts on how I should figure all this out?
