"Brushed" wheel finish and smal scratch repairs?
Some alloy vendors (like e.g. BC Forged), among other more common finishes, offer what they call "Brushed" finish; it's very attractive and draws my attention. I've been wondering whether it would be accurate to also consider this kind of finish the most trouble-free as well - what I mean is that with a painted wheel, any damage however small to te surface (like from a slight curbing) requires painting the entire wheel to be repaired without a trace. Am I right assuming that in case of the "Brushed" finish, such a small scratch (of course assuming no crack or bending) can be done away with by simply sanding it?
