When you get a new battery it is important to register the new battery.

Then, if the specs are the same -- you are done.

If the Specs are different then you need to Code the car for the specific change.
.
My old battery was 90ah and new was 92ah (no change / coding needed due to being within the range)
If my new battery was 94ah then I would need to Code the change.
