I don't remember how much heavier but it was not insignificant. Both can be coded with whatever tool you have and no special tools are needed for the swap.

I searched before posting my query but didn't see those posts you linked to.
The ODYSSEY 49-950 seems to be the way to go. I'm willing to accept the +6 lbs. in the trunk. It will get me a little closer to a 50/50 weight distribution.

Edit: FCP has it for $264, with free shipping. That's pretty good. I was considering waiting another year (6 years old), but may just go ahead and do it now.
