After 3 + years, ours shows no sign of wear, water marks or stains and I wish it would (curse you good water with no rust!). The marble in old baths that you see in Italy is what I really want, some rust stains and wear and stuff. I prefer things that are broken in but look well taken care of and clean (I think leather looks better with some wrinkles and wear in it, hate it when it's new, should have just gotten vinyl).
