I picked up my 220d Gran Tourer M-Sport a few weeks ago in Glacier Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Auto transmission. It has Driver Comfort Pack (PDC, Cruise, Park Assist), Navigation Plus, Folding Mirrors, Reverse Camera, Sun Protection Glass and the bizarre 'Touring Fuel Tank'. It was a stock car, so I didn't actually pick all those things. BMW were offering a roughly 12.5% discount to leasing companies on this model at the time of ordering (late June).

I have to say that I like it more than the X4 2.0d SE I replaced it for. It has tighter body control (due to M-Sport suspension no doubt), feels quicker, looks better (body kit, twin exhausts etc) and has all the luxuries I require.

Space in cabin and boot is excellent, seven seats has come in handy twice in a few weeks, and the best bit... the M-Sport steering wheel, lovely soft leather!

Surprises were that the Navigation Plus is not quite as good as the 'Professional Media' I had in my X4. It only zooms to 75yds, not 12yds in the navigation software, doesn't have as many options for the 'Split Screen' section, doesn't have a built-in hard drive for storing music, and the auto-stick has a huge travel in it, as opposed to the electronic stick in the X4.

Overall, I love my 220d Gran Tourer, far more than I thought I would.

Any why did I get rid of the X4 after only one year? Moved house, driveway very narrow, needed narrower car...damn

PS Plus I got 60mpg on a trip from Nottingham to Leeds driving fairly carefully!
