I do notice lag sometimes when it first starts up or when I try to do too much with my phone. Does the bimmertech unit lag at all? I've acutally been thinking of just switching to a wired connection to defeat the lag. Also, I am able to watch Youtube on mine I believe, but my iphone is jailbroken, so maybe that's why.

I haven't noticed any lag yet really. I don't use it for much other than Google Maps though. Yes, I have heard that YouTube streaming works if you jailbreak.
