I'd save the money and get the MP4S. I've run cheaper brands in the past like Kumho and Hankook but they've never matched the quality, comfort, wear, or feel of a MPSS or the MP4S.

Whatever you do, get a summer tire. Do not waste your time with an all season. You live in a warm climate. Don't neuter your car.

Either way, don't expect more than 30k from a legit performance tire.

Everyone should try a quality performance tire at least once in their life.

I'd also go 245/35r18. Way more aggressive looking and more contact patch. I'm running them at all four corners, no camber adjustments, etc. No rubbing on 18x8 et43.
