Depending on which wheel you are interested in, they may be available in more conservative offsets. For example, the VB3 is available in an ET40 for the front, however the rears would still be ET45.

So if I were to go with ET40 in front and ET45 in rear, that's the same as putting 17mm spacers in front and 26mm spacers in rear?
