my 2018 m240i f23 is doing VLD, so my guess is you have to hit the right buttons still. Here's what I followed:
Bimmercode for VDL:
***Front Electronic Module***
In Expert Mode:
C_AFS_ENA (3073) uncheck the two lines that contain "disable", and checked the the two lines that contain "enable".
LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y (3073) Uncheck the two lines that contain 0xB0, and checked the two lines that contain 0x9C three times.
Complete the coding before exiting "expert mode." Done.
Mine had only f020 entries (two apparently identical pairs) and I could only set one of them. if I'd go to set the other, the one would go off. I don't recall if I left the first ones set or the seconds. doubt it really matters but I suppose it might.
Anyway it's likely possible. Also it's not very exciting at all.
