I ended up going the 17x8 route with 245s all around. Decided on the RS4s. Now I just need to see if they fit, width-wise, as shortly after i ordered them from tire rack I found out the RS4 is about 1/2 inch wider than the RS3 which seems fit the car unmodified "just fine."
