I highly recommend that the cooling system be drained, flushed with distilled water and refilled with a 50/50 mix of BMW and distilled water every 3 years. These cars, especially those with a turbo, are hard on the coolant. Btw, I’ve owned and wrenched on bimmers since 1974.
