Have you considered a resonator delete? Like with the Dinan midpipe? I wasn't thrilled with my exhaust sound on my '17 M240Xi, and for $500 I made it sound quite a bit more mean. Pops, burbles, and gun shot cracks. The BMW dual resonators really take away a lot of auditory brilliance form the car.
