Stock setting for Racechip N20 is C

1st run is baseline
2nd run on C
3rd run on F
4th run on 1
5th run on 4

The Racechip settings are from Lowest 8 to highest 7
8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

I feel Racechip on F could of given a better number but it's whatever to me, at least Dyno also proves its some more than a stage1.

I attached the 5 runs on my X3, attached the BMS stage1 vs Brand X tune they were comparing, and also my friends graph.

2013 xDrive28i w/ Dinan stage1 and Supersprint quadexhaust

To sum this up.. Racechip in stock setting gets about +5hp more & +15tq than Bms stage1. I can increase the setting to more than what stage1 tunes offer if I want to. Another advantage I see with the Racechip is the MPG improvement in the highway very very noticeable. I wouldn't mind trying out BMS Stage1 or aFe Scorcher but no money for that and Dyno's cost $125/hr here. I'm done with this topic. We are the few Racechip owners on N20 Kendroz Yellowflash but the list is growing.

Go check out the M235 thread 5+ owners, F15 35/35i/50i 10+ owners.
F10 535/550 owners 5+

BMS also said "a subjective note I found the Stage1 tune to be much smoother under low and partial throttle operation. BRAND X has clearly been set to give a bit of a "wow" factor when tapping the gas pedal. You get much of the boost gain at a very low pedal input. I didn't care for it at all."

At the end of the day Racechip, aFe scorcher, AcitveAutowerke Active8, BMS Stage1 are all good. But as my friend says always do your research because even the most popular tune is not trouble free.
How much better is the MPG really over BMS? With my JB4 I just got 37 mpg on a 336 mile trip that was not flat, whereas I've done the same trip before in very similar conditions stock and only got 34. If race chip only gives you 1 mpg over jb4 I don't know if that trade off is worth it considering the logging capabilities I love about the JB4.

But nevertheless great write up!
