If you have an automatic, it does a better job at managing the wheel spin. The 6MTs have more turbo lag and that lag followed by a big surge of torque is what causes the traction issues in 2nd and sometimes 3rd. Only when the tires are fully warm and the pavement hot do I not have traction issues. My narrower winter 225 width tires have far more straightline grip than my Pilot Super Sports which are only half worn. A really soft and pliable tread compound goes a long way in the straightline. Terrible in the turns and braking though.
