The 2013 328i is also a first-year model, if I recall correctly. Never a great bet with BMW. I'd definitely cut my losses if I were you and upgrade to the 6 cylinder M240. It is a far better car in every way.

As a point of reference, my 2017 240 convertible has been incredibly reliable (knock wood). But admittedly, I'm only at about 17k miles. All BMWs tend to require some major investment when you approach 70k.
