I owned/loved my 2007 350z from 07-12, great car, never gave me a single issue in the 60k miles I owned it. No where in the class of our current cars, but nonetheless, I paid 29k out the door new at the time (less than half of my M4).

My biggest pet peeve on that car was the POS clutch slave cylinder. A mild 2k-3k rpm launch would cause that pedal to become soft - it was definitely a problem for that car. I never had the clutch pedal drop to the floor and stay or what not but I also rarely launched the car because of how soft the pedal got.
Spooky. I also had a 2007 350z from 2007-2012

I had hard 370z Nismo envy (the original one with the big wing), but in the end I never felt it was enough of an upgrade from my HR 350z, so I moved on to other brands. My personal biggest pet peeve was that 2nd would grind if you shifted too quickly. I didn't even really shift all that quickly either, just didn't like it.

I initially was not into the new Z, but it's growing on me. Just wish they called it the 300ZX because it makes too much sense. If it stays around 40k it'll definitely be a hit.
