I got a 350Z in 2002 to replace my z32 300ZX, I too loved it for what it was as well and had a blast with it. The Z community is awesome and I even got to meet Mr. K. I’m not too bothered by Nissan just improving the same platform and focusing on the body/powertrain/interior/tech. Porsche has been doing this for ages (996/997, 991/992) and don’t see many complain. If this allows them to offer a ~400hp, two seat sports car with a manual in 2022 for $40k we should be happy. Prefer this than what Toyota did with the Supra. No link to the past styling-wise, not Toyota mechanicals and no manual.

I’m not in the market for this car (my M2 fits my need perfectly, not to mention it’s a blast to drive!) but I hope it does well and Nissan can keep building Z cars for years to come.
