I talked to BMW NA today as well. Explained the situation (on missing speakers not the non programmable EQ and L7), they admitted its a mistake on their part. Said that is all fine and dandy, but I paid for something based on their advertising and got something else.
They transferred me to the remediation dept. Told me they would talk to my dealer, and get back to me in a couple of days. Called my sales guy explained the situation to him, time will tell what they do (if anything).
