I'm running 245/35r18 MP4S tires on Alutec Drive 18x8 et43 wheels on all four corners. I have no suspension mods, no spacers, etc. I have no rubbing issues.
I drive quite hard on the street but I don't track the car. I no longer have issues with front shoulder wear. I've got 15k miles on my MP4S tires and the outside shoulders are barely worn more than the inside. The real issue is the narrow 225s most people run. It's not enough tire and the sidewall isn't stiff enough to handle load, especially the soft sidewall Star spec BMW Pilot Super Sports.
