So I'm interested in swapping out my base sound system (fronts only) and I was wondering whether I should bother putting in sound deadening material in the doors while they were pulled apart.
I have no intention of opening up the rear panels and would at most apply some material in the wheel wells.
Since I have a convertible would adding sound deadening to the doors and maybe the wheel wells even make a noticeable difference? I dont feel the cabin is noisy but since I'll be pulling the door panels I might as well ask for opinions. At least i could save the 100-200 in material cost if it wont do much.
