Hey All, does anyone have some input on the typical oil temp range? I monitor mine with a scan tool quite a bit and noticed that I typically sit at 242-246F in normal and hard driving. This is at full warm up and I have a 235i with the aux oil cooler. I guess my question is, does the oil cooler only turn on when you hit really high levels, like 260+? I'm also running the factory recommended 0w-30 bmw oil.
