I had this happen to me both times I went on test drives before I bought my car, and it hasn't happened since. I was able to fix it my self fairly quickly both times. I wasn't sure I was able to fix it at first, it just took a little bit of patience.

I'm not sure what caused it to do that, but I have a felling it has to do with how you let it go back into the piller.
