Its interesting that BMW recommends not to do high revs and vary the rev's. Because at there factory in SC when i did a performance pickup they put each car off the line on a dino and take it to over 120mph and run it through the rev's.
but as mentioned earlier to schools. Race or BMW recommended.
I did a little of both when i got my car.
