Yep...I did gentle roll-on's to 4k or so for the first 1000, then changed all my fluid and continued doing roll-on's to 5k or so up till 2000.
I also have slowly taken it to 6k in a higher gear and allowed the back pressure to slow the car back down to normal operation several times...something I have always done to my new engines.
