Hello,
I was interested to read the different opinions on the oil change and comments on servicing.
It made me think about my car's service intervals. I was of the opinion (and even think at some point was told this by BMW) that the first service was at 30,000kms.
However, today, I received an automatic email reminder from the garage suggesting a minor service was now due (according to the teleservice system information they received).
My car, 218i, has now done 22,000 kms and the message on the dashboard says service due in 9000km or June 2017. So, I haven't reached the kms yet, but it seems I have met the time.
Does it really need a minor service (no oil change has been done yet)?
Any thoughts on this?
