That was my situation exactly, with my budget, either get the 4 cyl Z4 or for the same money an M240i, I went for the M240i, to me the xdrive for winter, the extra power of the 6 cyl, the back seat for cargo or passengers was a no brainer. I do like the looks of the Z4 more but couldn’t justify the cost.
