The problem with these flexible architectures is that you have to reserve space for the ICE/Fuel cell instead of getting the best
wheelbase and short overhangs.
I think that's maybe cheap to produce (optimal workload of the plants), but from the technical point of view a bad compromise. With the i4 for example we get a senseless long car with the interior space of an ICE/Fuel cell car.
