The compact spare for my 2009 JCW r55
MINI Clubman needs a 12mm spacer to
clear the rear JCW brakes, but the
tire/wheel/jack/tool tray fits nicely out
of the way in the spare well.
On the other hand, the compact spare/etc.
strapped to the floor of the trunk of the
M240i convertible does take up up a bit
of real estate.

I have the Bimmerzone in my M240 convertible. It does take up some space, but I've not had any major issues with it. It's a minor inconvenience. But, I prefer to have it back there for all of the east coast potholes. Had one of my BMWs towed by AAA once and won't make that mistake again. I think AAA and BMW both use the same regional tow-trucks. I know for a fact that AAA and Audi use the same network. Around the DC area they aren't too good. I like to keep it back there just in case:-)
