If you look at the bar charts, however, the A/S 3+ appears to be the better tire. The discussion of winter performance in the test report doesn't really explain this: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=230.

After looking at these two reports and test results, if I were in the market for this type of tire and focused on snow and ice performance, I'd call the Rack directly and ask someone to advise me on which to choose.
