Hi, I have 220iA Gran Tourer (F46). It doesn't have navigation system built in, but MY 2018 and wireless charging (how can I check if enhanced Bluetooth is included?). BimmerTech confirmed (based on last 6 digits of VIN) that they cannot activate CarPlay. Are there other solutions for retro-fitting CarPlay? I've seen a hardware system that is connected between idrive and video screen, which requires ID5 - would something like that work?
How do I confirm whether my system is using ID5 or ID6, and does that matter?
