on the main site I see there are plenty who have gone to a different pad, frankly I am seriously considering doing the same.
i just dont get a good feel from them, in fact i think the pedal feels spongy, but after a visit to the dealer, and a service i am told they are 'all good'

thoughts?
I felt the same way about the brakes on my M235i until I had the pads and rotors replaced under warranty. Started getting pulsation at around 30k so dealer replaced them. Now the pedal feel and bite are exactly what it should have felt like new.

I currently have the Pirelli run flats so I don't think it's tire related IMO. Before ordering a 19' M240i I test drove one. To me the brakes felt exactly the same as my M235i pre pads/rotors. I chalked it up to the brakes not being broken in yet but I'll know for sure once my M240 is delivered.
