This might be useful seeing as 1 series and 2 series fitment is basically the same.
I tried out my Apex Arc-8s from my e36 on the weekend.
17x9et42 with Advan A050 R comps in 245/40/17 (similar width to a 265 street tyre).
Needed a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the stut, and the rear brake pads needed the vibration damper weight thingies removed (last pic shows what I mean).
I'm running Ohlins coilovers with Vorschlag camber plates, -2 camber all around.
