Characters not working properly for DAB info

Hi,

This might seem like a minor thing to moan about, but what else are forums for

Not sure if this is BMW's issue or if it can be blamed on whatever the DAB equivalent of RDS is, but it seems as though my 2014 M235i has trouble with certain characters when displaying program information. Listening to a program about Chilean folk music (as you do) I noticed that my iDrive seemed to have trouble with letters that weren't your average A-Z. See first attached pic. The text there was supposed to be Nueva canción - hopefully the forum software copes with that. It's a "lower-case o with acute". OK that's an odd character, I can understand if it falls over. But a few days later, I noticed it also appeared to have trouble with an apostrophe - see second pic.

This is a bit surprising considering how polished everything else seems to be - can this really be BMW's problem or should I be moaning at the BBC for using Unicode in their DAB program descriptions?

3rd attached pic is current version of software in the car, in case this is of use for anyone to solve this very first of first world problems.

(To cover some possible answers, no I don't have anything better to do )

Rob
